CERAMIC POLISHING
Over the years, ceramic polishing underwent a major transformation, from technical polishing to the study of new solutions and new technologies to satisfy an increasingly demanding market.
LAPIDATION
Lapidation is the most popular form of polishing, already occupying an important space in the ceramic world. It is a partial polishing, allowing to apply more or less intensity of brightness in the tiles, with greater or less structure and glazing. Obtaining the desired brightness is achieved by the application of different types of granulometry.
ACETINATION
When the surface of the tiles is very rough it is also harder to clean.
The satinization consists of the smoothing of the ceramic surfaces, through a brushing process with traditional or diamond brushes.
RECTIFICATION
Nowadays, almost all floors and ceramic tiles are rectified and bevelled to facilitate the application process.
The finishing machines use the resin grinders to make the surface much smoother and cleaner, completing the process of added value of the ceramic product.
